This American made genre of Bellydance was founded in California in the late 1960s and has continued to expand around the globe. This style can take on many forms but is best known for its earthy, joyous, colorful, and spirited performances. Combining world dances of the Spanish Flamenco, North African, Middle East, Indian, and so much more, this style is an ever evolving dance form that is sure to inspire dancers for years to come.
